CityScape Realty Group
CityScape Realty Group is a boutique real estate brokerage in Washington, DC. The owner, Antoinette “Toni” McCree, has been in the Real Estate industry for over 19 years and desired to offer her clients and agents a fresh and engaging experience with a local real estate brokerage.
The Logo
We began this project with her logo design. She wanted something to reflect the Metropolitan Area that was professional and unique. After playing with different landmarks, we landed on a silhouette of the Metropolitan area, outlined by the Beltway – I-495. A logo that reflected city – Washington, DC – while not excluding the other areas that her brokerage covered.
The Collateral
Next was the collateral. Professional head shots are common features for real estate agent business cards, though she still wanted to give her agents the option of not including a picture. So, we crafted a professional design for the business cards, whether they had a picture or not. Only one option was selected for the back of the card. Formal letters and agreements are mandatory in real estate, so she wanted a professional letterhead to send to clients. To utilize the momentum of launching a brokerage, Toni opted for an announcement card to mail out to her current clients and referrals.
The Website
Initially, Toni wanted a website to display CityScape’s listings while allowing clients to click-through to the entire listing at a nationally recognized site. She also desired to display agent profiles, have a contact page for collect client leads and a page which allowed potential agents to send their interest in joining the brokerage. Her initial idea for workflow included integrating third-party real estate backend software, where she and her agents could manage their leads and listings.
We suggested that she opt to integrate an MLS/IDX (multiple listing service/internet data exchange) feed directly on her website which served two functions – 1) keep leads on her website longer, thereby 2) increasing her ability obtaining a clients. We built the website upon WordPress and integrated the MLS listings with Showcase IDX.
Showcase IDX allowed Toni to uncover a hidden business need that we did not discuss during the discovery process – the ability to highlight properties from popular DC neighborhoods.
Overall, we were able to deliver a comprehensive solution for the brokerage website out of the box, without the need to point her clients or agents to various other websites.
Additional Services
We helped Toni get set up with a domain name, email and productivity through Google’s G Suite*. Any new business owner needs a professional email account – this is especially so when you have a team. We use – and highly recommend – G Suite* to all of our clients. Starting at $5 per user, per month, business owners have access to the complete Google Suite of apps compared to only getting email through their website hosting provider.
We are currently working with Toni to develop a content-marketing strategy to drive organic inbound traffic to her website.
